Six Flags is an amusement park given credit for its wild and crazy rides no other theme parks can compare to. So it’s undoubtedly a surprise that Six Flags would still find a way to make itself an even bigger attraction by adding a world of wet mania to the mix called Hurricane Harbor.

Hurricane Harbor water parks are now dispersed throughout the country harmonizing with Six Flags Amusement Parks or on their own. Whichever way they’re situated, every Hurricane Harbor encloses: futuristic water rides, the hottest water slides, fantastic wave pools, rampant rivers and all sorts of splashing merriment.

In Arlington, Texas, you will find the initial Six Flags Water Park where the new Mega Wedgie will be ready for anticipating riders on May 17, summer season. Arlington’s Hurricane Harbor tickets are for: general admission ($24.99), kids below 48″ in height ($19.99), and kids under 2 (free). General and preferred parking options available at $10 and $15, correspondingly.

May 24 officially opens the summer season at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in L.A. where guests get what is called a “California Drenchin”. Hurricane Harbor, L.A. is a weekends-only adventure as of now, and Hurricane Harbor’s tickets in L.A. cost $29.99 (General Admission) and $20.99 for kids less than 48″ in height. Up to 2 y/o are free. Combo tickets are available too for $69.99 which includes both Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor.

In New Jersey you’ll see three Six Flags Amusement Parks right next to each other! That’s Great Adventure, Wild Safari Animal Park, and Hurricane Harbor. June 19 is the big day, opening for the summer season, but it’s a weekends-only gig until then. $24.99 is the starting ticket price for kids under 54″ tall. Purchasing of combo tickets is an option.

There are a number of Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor combined theme and water parks and they sell their tickets with combined admissions as well. Outside of Chicago, Illinois, is the state’s largest water park Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor which opens their summer season on May 21. While on May 15, Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor of St. Louis open their doors with tickets sold as both theme and water park admissions.

The country’s most enormous wave pool is located at Six Flags America in Prince George County, Maryland (just near Baltimore and Washington, D.C.). It is opening for summer in May, 2008.

A short distance from Boston is Six Flags New England in Springfield Massachusetts, where their Hurricane Harbor features two whole wave pools. Late May they’ll be open for park guests.
