Using a razor is ok if you are in a rush but given the opportunity, we would prefer to have that soft silk like finish to our hairless skin. However, hot wax hair removal can give professional grade results that we crave. It is because of this finish that it is becoming more and more popular.
It is a wonder with so many new unwanted hair removal systems available why the hot wax hair removal system has lasted so long. It is not a perfect system however, but overall the benefits outweigh the failings. You may find that some of the new approaches just don’t stand up to the inexpensive wax removal systems used over the years. All of us have used a razor to shave ourselves at some point because it’s convenient, but it’s not very pleasant when you nick yourself with the razor.
As always, a cut from shaving doesn’t want to stop bleeding and it will always happen just as you intend to go out. Still, a guy has to worry about the dreaded 5 O’clock shadow, not something that concerns you if you have wax removal. The best part about using hot wax hair removal is what happens when the hair grows back; it gets progressively thinner over time. You can’t even compare it with shaving because the more frequently I wax, the less the hair returns.
I noticed that shaved hair comes back with a vengeance. No system is perfect and the downside to the hot wax hair removal system is there is a little discomfort but not as much as critics would have you believe. One of its alternatives, the Epilday, is a different case altogether. As an instrument of torture, it works very well. I remember using an Epilady once and that was enough; I lasted a couple of seconds and then threw it in the trash can.
I first tried the hot wax hair removal system after one of my college friend’s who was born in India suggested I try it. It only took the one visit to convince me and I haven’t used any other method since that time. I find the fact that wax removal systems have a reputation for being uncomfortable rather annoying. I don’t believe it deserves this reputation for causing discomfort when all the other methods are considered.
