When looking for a job, it would be best to look out for employment agencies. These agencies work to match a particular individual’s character and skills to a certain position in companies. These agencies do these things with the help of recruiters. There are two kinds of recruiters: the in-house recruiter and the headhunter.

An in-house or internal recruiter is tied to a company for a specific period of time. This kind of recruiter works in or hand in hand with the company’s human resource department in the hiring of sufficient manpower. some recruiters of this kind work on a contractual basis, moving around in different companies and working in them until the specific amount of employees required has been reached. Internal recruiters are usually found in recruitment and employment agencies.

When the in-house recruiter fails to find the sufficient and qualified manpower in the company, it’s time for the third-party recruiters or headhunters to step it. These are the people that companies usually turn to when they come across difficulty in hiring. Headhunters have the option of going solo or being part of an agency and act as mediators between the client and the candidates. Headhunters come with expertise in client relationship, candidate searching or both.

A type of headhunter is the Executive Search Agents or Professionals, who are more involved in the hiring process than normal agents. Executive Search agents are typically part of a larger company or agency, and have long business relationships with their clients. They usually have a large network of contacts, detailed knowledge of their area, and operate at the senior level.

The professionalism of the Executive Search Agents assures that people hired from are usually of the best quality. They really go through the long and methodical process of conducting interviews, reports and making precise assessments of a candidate’s nature in relation to the client company’s culture. They make it a point not to resort to the usual poaching methods some other agents may use. This high level of professionalism and dedication make them one of the best people to turn to when in need of quality manpower.

Executive Search agencies usually add compensations for their clients to maintain their long relationship. A common example is how Executive Search agencies promise to make additional searches for free if the candidate resigns or is fired within a year of employment.
