Work at Home and Find Ways to Make Money Online
July 17, 2008 – 9:16 amAs I began to search for ways to make money online as a newbie, I found out that the easiest way to start was not to create my own product at first, but to begin promoting other company’s products which is called affiliate marketing. This is a great way to make money online from home on your own personal computer and on your own time and schedule.
The first step is to choose a product that is easy to market at Clickbank. Some people choose to work online promoting drop-ship products for companies and they love it. Personally, I have found that using what is called the Bum Marketing approach, works very well and resulted in a first page listing of one of my first articles that I wrote using these tips. It is not difficult to do once you understand a few key principles there.
Another great place that offers affiliates who are people promoting other people’s products, is Paydotcom. Paydotcom offers beautiful, brightly colored banners that you can copy and paste from their pages if you click on a certain product to sell. You don’t have to know HTML code to do this, you just simply copy and paste a banner, or an email or a signature with your name embedded in the affiliate link.
Both Clickbank and Paydotcom marketplaces provide a great place to make a high commission income by working online from home. You simply choose which product you wish to promote from either site, click on the create hyperlink buttons, and your affliate link or nickname will be embedded into each hyperlink. Then you take that hyperlink and you put in an email that you would send out to a safelist, or to other sites such as free classified sites and when someone clicks on that link you make that percentage of each sale. Beautiful!
The second step is to find a marketplace such as Clickbank, that offers its affiliates tools to promote each product such as an easy way to register for that company and then their software automatically creates a hoplink which is a url link with your name embedded into that link. When you send out an email or put that link on your blog, say at a free blog site such as Blogger, and someone clicks on that link and purchases the product, you will make a percentage of each and every sale. That is exciting and I can’t describe to you the excitement I felt when I checked my clickbank account and saw that I had made my first sale.
Your third method to make money online and from home is to begin to drive website traffic to your affiliate link. That link can be embedded into articles that are submitted to article directories. The affiliate code with your nickname can also be embedded into your emails that are sent by safelist services. However, article marketing is one of the best ways to make money online and from home because it is free and simply is a matter of your time and effort.
The wonderful advantage of article marketing online and as a way to make money online from home is that once you write your article and it goes viral and spreads around the internet, you can reap rewards financially from that one article for many months. If it is a well-written article many article directories will pick up your article and republish it and your efforts will be magnified many times over.
The key to being a successful article marketer is consistency online. Write one to ten articles a day and submit them to article directories to the same three websites. You will begin to see sales after the search engines pick them up. There are many tips to doing this well and your success will depend on following a few key principles. Those who follow these few tips make hundreds and sometimes thousands a month online with free article marketing.
