World of Warcraft is an extremely challenging game to play even though the makers have attempted to make it as easy as possible to keep the gamer interested. The problem that I found when playing was that it was difficult to gather gold. Hours and hours are spent playing the game yet by then end of the time, only a few silver pieces are in the bag.
Farm like crazy, but only when you are in the mood. Farming is the equivalent to killing the same monsters over and over again in a specific area and collecting the coin and items they drop. This can be lucrative only if you have the time and patience to do something very repetitive. If not, skip farming and go to the next one.
First the easiest way to make gold in World of Warcraft is to have two gathering professions. Such as mining and skinning. You can use your mini map to find rocks to mine. Skinning can be done on most any animal you will come in contact with, allowing you to quest at the same time. This is a profession where you go along in your journey and collect things.
Questing. Start collecting quests like they are candy. Once you have a good handful of them, go and complete them. You generally will end up killing a bunch of monsters and get coin and item drops as well as the quest reward at the end. Serious money can be made here.
Grinding is one thing, but questing is another. When you complete quests, you get gold. The higher your level, the more gold you get. While you quest, you will also get the occasional rare drop item and be able to loot your enemy for items and gold. These rare drops and regular items can be sold for a quick buck if you don’t need them.
The junk can usually be sold to a regular vendor, but if you do your research you may find these things are going for higher prices on the Auction House.
Check out what is selling at the auction house for good money. Find some items that are selling hot and try to get them yourself to sell.
Sometimes it is necessary to spend money to make money. If you max out your skill in your crafting profession, you can craft items for good money on the AH. You will spend less time gathering, more time making, and make more money than you ever had before. If you are part of a guild that frequents raids or can at least get some high end recipes crafting will make you more gold per item then gathering ever could.
