Does this mean that the chips come from Las Vegas? Does it mean that the chips are like the chips in Las Vegas? Maybe it means that these chips are replicas of the chips found in Las Vegas. The term seems to mean different things to different sites.
A little knowledge will prevent you from getting fooled, and ending up with something you did not intend to buy. So do your research for Las Vegas Style poker chips as the term does indeed mean different things.

While these clay poker chips aren’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination, they certainly won’t cost you $8 per chip. You can expect to pay about $400 for 1000 of these chips.
You can also visit websites that will sell chips that have Las Vegas or “welcome to Las Vegas on them. They term these as Las Vegas Style poker chips. They can be made from cheap plastic or expensive clay and anything in between. For this reason you will need to do some research before purchasing chips from these websites.
Unfortunately, the term Las Vegas poker chip has been tossed around so much that it’s virtually meaningless now. When you look for this type of chip, make sure you know exactly what you’re looking for and exactly what the chip shop means by “Las Vegas poker chip”.
