Make Easy Warcraft Gold in TBC
July 30, 2008 – 10:45 pmI got to level 70 and buying my flying mount, I want to spend more time in the Outlands and TBC and learn where the best drops and best farming spots are.
The Outland is one of the best places to farm for items that are worth a lot of gold in Warcraft, items such as motes which turn into primals are great to farm for easy money.
A really good place to farm is in Hellfire on the eastern edge where the Voidwalkers appear. These Voidwalkers drop silver, some greens and quite often, motes of shadow which can be turned into Primal Shadows.
There are many other awesome places in the Outland to farm including Nagrand, especially for skinners, the Clefthoof give you Thick Clefthoof leather which is a great leather for high level leather workers and they pay a good price for them.
Not a skinner? You may want to head to Nagrand for the Voidwalkers around Oshu’Gun and just south of there on the edge, they drop lots of Motes. The Rumblers have a good mote of earth drop rate and the Voidspawns drop mote of shadows.
I like going to Netherstorm to pick up tons of Netherweave cloth, this area has (in my opinion) the best drop rates for this type of cloth, the name is Netherstorm… Afterall, and what better place to farm for Netherweave cloth than a place that has the same name? You can also pick up a ton of Sunfury Signets in the Netherstorm that sell great on the AH.
Terokkar Forrest is a awesome place for grinding, especially if you aren’t level 70, even if you are already level 70, you can still pick up a lot of nice drops in this area such as Arakkoa Feathers that the Talonite bird-guys drop, these sell good on the AH.
Another great money maker is the Spiders Silk in Terokkar Forrest, (Netherweb)… These bad boys go for an easy 10G a pop and you can grab about a stack an hour if you are good! I have a Hunter and I send my pet in to do all the dirty work while I go off and grab 2 or 3 more spiders then send the pet after them, using Beatial Wrath which makes him stronger, taking out 3 or 4 spiders in one swoop, rest up and repeat, in 2 hours I average about 25-30 of these spider webs and that is easy gold!
