Nowadays, many people are starting to use diesel powered vehicles more. This is mainly because of the fact that fuel and oil prices are increasing dramatically. This has been driving people who drive gas powered cars to look for other ways in order to help save money on fuel consumption. Using diesel powered cars is one of the easiest solutions to this problem.

As of today, many car manufacturers and car distributors offer the option of diesel powered cars. Diesel powered cars are a lot more common in European countries since their diesel fuel emissions are a lot cleaner. Many prestigious cars such as Mercedez Benzs and BMWs in Europe actually run on diesel fuel. In the United States, though, diesel powered cars are not as common since a big chunk of the diesel supply in the US contains a sulfur and pollutants. Lately, though, the US government has issued stricter rules and regulations that require diesel fuel to meet strict emission standards. If these rules are successful in their implementation in the United States, then there’s sure to be a drastic increase in the diesel powered cars available in the United States.
