Five Signs Your Partner Is Cheating

If you suspect your husband of cheating, make sure you give him plenty of rope to hang himself with. By that I mean let him make the mistakes - so don’t accuse him until you have concrete proof that will stand up in court, if it comes to it. Infidelity is on the rise, so here are some of the top ways available to catch your cheating husband.

1. 9 out of 10 cheaters do so in their own bed at some point in the relationship. If you suspect your husband of cheating on you in your own bed, make it a special way, then check every day - if you husband has been using it without you, chances are he won’t have made it correctly.

2. Set a trap. Use one of your friends that he doesn’t know to help you with this. Get your friend to check on him at a bar or a party and record the conversation. One easy way to do this is to have her call either your or her answering service just before she talks to him, this way you can have concrete proof of his infidelity.

3. Your husband will definitely take advantage if he is left alone for a weekend. So to set another trap tell him that you will be away all weekend, give him precise times for when you are leaving and when you will be back. Then say goodbye and find a good spot where you’ll be able to watch your house, all you have to do now is wait and see.

4. It is important that you keep an eye on all your husband’s financial transactions. This includes ATM withdrawals, receipts, and credit card statements, keep an eye out for any unusual transactions. You may be lucky and find some obvious evidence such as motel room receipts, or a jeweller’s receipts, although you have not had any new jewellery recently. Your husband may be cleverer than this, and could be using cash to buy gifts or pay for things for his new lover. He may give himself away though if he is withdrawing the same sum of money at the same time every week or month, which he will be using to pay for a motel room.

5. Always keep a close eye on his cell phone records, and your home phone records. Look out for repeated calls, or calls that last a long time, or at strange times of the day. Monitor how he uses his cellphone, does he move out of earshot before he answers it? Make note of all the times when his cell phone is turned off, is there a pattern to this?

If you have no concrete information on your husband you can always play the bluff, try saying something like, I know what you’ve been up to and I will give you one chance to own up and tell me the truth. You may be able to get the information you need, but chances are he will just lie to the bitter end.

I can assure you that your husband will screw up sooner or later you will need to be patient, but remain watchful. An easy way to do this is to hire a PI, however this can be expensive and may not be necessary. My advice is that you follow the above steps, keep a watchful eye for any of these signs, and keep notes of any evidence.
