You can make the power of creativity stronger through the tests of creative thinking. Everyone is an individual, whilst one person may be better in a particular area than another, the other may be better in a differnt area.These tests will be able to give you a better idea of what your business is built around, especially if you are overseeing anyone that needs to be creative to flourish in your organization.
There are plenty of ways and different tests of creative thinking that you could use to see exactly how well your company is performing. Here are just a couple ideas that you could implement in your workplace. These tests are important if you want your business to thrive with creativity.
1. Interviewing future employees - There are a few things you should be looking for when you are interviewing employees. You may find that some seniors can be stubborn to change and innovation, so you are going to need someone who is not scared to voice their opinions. They should be able to persuade others into their ways of thinking. Be on the lookout for an employee who does not back out on their own ideas. These types of employee can sometimes cause friction or tension, but trust me they are our future leaders.
2. Expect Personality conflicts _ If you find that there is supression instead of expression of ideas in your workplace, then this could be a clear indication that your organization could be heading in the wrong direction. You should make sure that your senior leaders are not putting a damper on the creativity of the juniors in your company. Make sure that your juniors do not feel like their behaviour is being monitored.
You should provide your employees with the neccesary tools to make sure that your organization is as creative as it should be. In brainstorming sessions you could provide notebooks and whiteboards to ensure that they get their creative juices flowing.Writing notes can help creativity and also give them ideas to work on later.
Having fun in the workplace can also bring on creativity. Bring some excitement to the meeting room. If your employees are bored stiff surely you cannot expect them to get creative. Where there is fun you are sure to find some creativity.
You should consciously choose to find new ways to implement creativity in the workplace. You could look for new ways for your employees to do the same old jobs. This could be anything from the way they answer the telephone, or even the way they organize the office.
There are a wide range of tests of creative thinking that can keep your business going in the right direction. Remember if you want a creative organization, you need a creative atmosphere.
