Best Costumes for Gadget Lovers
Gadget lovers are usually just seen as being technical. You might not think they are creatively or artistically-inclined enough to fully immerse themselves in the fun of dressing up for Halloween. There are, however, quite a few very interesting costumes for people who love gadgets. One such costume is a giant remote control. It is so funny to see a giant remote control walk in the room! A costume like this could be easily made out of cardboard and some black and silver paint.
Dressing up as an iPhone would be a very timely costume right now, as they are so popular! An iPhone costume would definitely be a hit and could be easily made out of cardboard and paint. Or if you would rather not wear a cardboard box all night, you could wear a black sweatshirt, with the easily-recognized iPhone icons painted on the front of it.
A funny costume that your gadget-loving self could dress up in is the oh-so-dreaded ‘Blue Screen of Death’! This one could be made with a cardboard box, too, or you could just wear a blue sweatshirt – either of which you will want to paint on the words, “Exception Fatal Error”. The computer geeks at the party might not want to sit next to you, for fear of your jinxing them, but, it will be a really funny costume!
A neat costume to put together would be an Xbox costume. Everyone recognizes that big, green X! You would just need to dress in all black, making sure to have long pants and long sleeves. Also wear a black hat and then you have a small black box around your torso with that lovely green X on it! The gamers in the room will recognize you right away!
There is a lovely green X that is quickly recognized by any gamer – that would be the green X on the side of an Xbox console! It would be pretty simple to dress up as an Xbox for your favorite party! Dress in all black, making sure to wear long sleeves and long pants. Then have a small black box over your torso with a green X painted on it. And that’s pretty much all you need to do to be immediately recognized as one of the most popular gaming systems!
For a throwback to the 1980s, you can dress up as a Rubik’s Cube. This costume is also made out of a cardboard box. You cut it into three even pieces. Then cut a hole in the top of the box for your head, trying to make that hole the size of only one of the colored squares. And in the bottom of the box, you cut a hole for your waist. Next you just paint on all of the colored squares and tie the separate pieces together with string to hold it all together. And now you can be one of the favorite toys of the 1980s!
