Orlando Hotel Room

Booking a hotel room while vacationing in Orlando is almost a necessity since all of Orlando can’t possibly be toured in a day or two. As such, choosing your hotel room is as important as deciding on your itinerary of what tourist attraction to watch.

Book your hotel rooms in advance, if you can, since they will be cheaper than booking it during peak season. Major hotels allow you to book online, making the process easier and much more convenient. If you’re just buying your tickets, you can try to look for promo deals that already includes your hotel accommodations as this will drastically reduce the things you need to do or think about once you arrive in Orlando. An all-inclusive holiday package is also a great option and you should try to inquire for one even if you’re only doing the transaction through a travel agent. An all-inclusive package also makes hotel room bookings that much cheaper. As and added bonus, most vacation packages also include a complimentary breakfast, something direct booking will not get you.

When choosing your hotels to book in, try going for ones that are located along the famous International Drive. That way, you can have great shopping spots to choose from the moment you step out of your hotel, as well as great dining and attractions. If, however, you just want to spend all your time in one of Orlando’s famous theme parks, then you can try booking a room in the theme park hotels. They give you the convenience of having access to all the fun right at your doorstep. Keep in mind, however, that theme park hotels can be more expensive than a regular hotel as they are more of a specialty house than your typical lodging.

This hotel is entirely Nickelodeon-themed and it includes a huge arcade, playgrounds, a kid’s spa and bunk beds in the rooms. Although this might be too much for your entire stay, it’s worth trying out for a night or two. The same applies for any of the theme park hotels/resorts: staying too long may be quite expensive. You may find it worth the trouble to stay in a theme park hotel for the first few days, so that you can explore the theme park with it nearby, and then shift to a normal hotel elsewhere to keep it affordable. In the end, make sure that you get to stay near the places that you want to visit.
