A wedding is an imperative part of everyone in their lives; the entire experience from the engagement to the honeymoon is an essential occasion for the bride and groom. Along the line to matrimony there are many celebrations, showers and receptions that meant to be remembered for a lifetime.

Bridal showers are fun, entertaining and an integral part of the wedding package. A bridal shower event takes place before a couple’s wedding and is purpose to ’shower’ them with gifts. It is the modern day substitution of the bridal dowry given by the bride’s family long-ago.

Traditionally, bridal showers have always been hosted by friends, members of family, co-workers, bridesmaids, business associates, or church groups. Lots of work involves in organizing a bridal shower. There has to be good planning, lots of money involved, a good imagination and the right coordination for a successful bridal shower.

Bridal showers can be held at any location, anywhere from two months to two weeks prior to the wedding. Some bridal showers happen in a friends ’s home, while others are given at a restaurant. Depending on the number of guests, some bridesmaids chip in to reserve a private room in a restaurant or club.

The bride is the center of attention at the bridal shower and the gifts for the event are normally for the bride herself. Home items are very common and useful gifts, that the newlyweds will need to begin their life together. But bath and body care items, or even gift vouchers can be appropriate.

Bridal showers can be a small and intimate affair, filled with fun and silly games. There are hundreds of different games that can be played at a shower, Whether your guests are traditional or zany. Some are lighthearted, meant to pull the brides leg, and others are to break the ice.
