White tea gets its name from the way its buds turn to white when it dries out. It has been a long lost secret of the Chinese people and only recently has it been exposed to the west. Moderns scientists claim that it has to be one of the best health drinks ever produced by nature. So, what exactly is all the fuss about?

White tea helps inhibit cancer cells by using a class of antioxidants that can detect and stop cancer cells as well as prevent new ones from forming. Whilst it is just an alternative medicine, it has been found to be helpful in preventing various forms of cancer.

White tea has been seen to makes bones much stronger. Research on those who drink white tea and those who don’t has revealed that white tea users have a slightly stronger bone density and strength.

White tea aids blood pressure. It does this by thinning the blood thus reducing overall blood pressure. It also helps improve blood circulation which has been one of the things green tea can not do.

It creates a favorable environment for reducing cholesterol levels. This is done through a class of antioxidants called catechins which naturally reduce cholesterol levels. Cholesterol is something that is necessary for good health, however having it in large amounts can be a cause of diseases. White tea keep it in just the perfect amount.

It makes your heart healthier. By lowering blood pressure, and reducing cholesterol and thinning the blood white tea protects the heart from strokes and other heart related problems. Researchers have also discovered that people who drink 2 or more cups of white a day are almost 50% less likely to die after suffering a heart attack.

It makes your skin look brighter. It does this by reversing damage done to it by the sun and poor diet. Antioxidants responsible for killing free radicals in the skin are contained in white tea. This helps reduce wrinkling as well as combat aging.

To conclude, White tea has many more benefits that would take more than a few hundred words to write.
